There are multiple benefits of driving an electric car: ditching oil, cleaning the air, a far better driving experience, spending less to drive and maintain your vehicle, and protecting Creation!    

You may be aware that transportation is now the largest source of greenhouse gases in California and that electric cars produce no greenhouse gases.

But what you may not know is that there is a wide range of electric cars to choose from now and that driving an electric car is becoming more beneficial all the time.    Rebates for electric vehicles, a growing number of charging stations, lower electric rates, and creative ways of leasing or buying new or used EVs are making EVs more economical and more accessible.

CIPL has partnered with the Golden Gate Electric Vehicle Association in educating the faith community about the why's and how's of driving an electric car.
